Concerts in the Sala Bianca at Palazzo Pitti

The Florentine summer will be marked by the celestial notes of the artists of the Luigi Cherubini Conservatory of Florence, which collaborates with the Uffizi Galleries with concerts open to visitors of the Medici Palace of Palazzo Pitti. The calendar of musical performances lasts from 4 July to 5 September 2020, and boast very famous names of composers, from Beethoven - protagonist of the first day - to Piazzolla, Vivaldi and Bach.

The original music of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries plays a significant role in the calendar of the event, with performances of singing, organ, harpsichord, violin, cello and Celtic harp, the latter hardly used in the classical repertoire. Among others, the appointment on 8 August is expected to be intense, with the flute playing with the harp, in a truly unique auditory symphony.

The concerts in the Sala Bianca will take place every Saturday morning, at 11 am, and will last about 40 minutes. Access is included in the museum entrance ticket, subject to availability.
